Victor Osimhen will confer with his agent and family on his future in Napoli following the outbursts of the club president on African players, Megasportsarena.com understands.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis declared he will never again sign an African player ‘unless they sign an agreement backing out of the Africa Cup of Nations’.
“I love them, but either they sign something confirming they’ll back out of playing the AFCON…” Laurentiis said in a Wall Street Italia talk show.
Laurentiis comments has sparked intensive amount of controversy and disaffection amongst African players and football watchers globally.
Osimhen is said to be weighing his options and would be open to seek a new club.
Napoli currently has top African players in Victor Osimhen and Zambo Franck-Anguissa.
