Osimhen On Song In Napoli’s Rampant Win

Victor Osimhen scored one of Napoli’s goals in their 4-0 thumping of Monza in the Serie A on Sunday.

Osimhen, who grabbed his second goal in as many games, had his first attempt at goal when his header was palmed out from under the bar by Di Gregorio.

Monza’s resilience was broken in spectacular style. Kvicha Kvaratskhelia cut inside from the left and curled a sensational right-foot finish off the far top corner of the upright, leaving the Monza goalkeeper no chance.

Then came the opportunity for Osimhen who won’t be denied another chance to score.

Samuele Birindelli drilled wide, got him clear on goal despite  a perfectly-timed Marlon tackle in the box and Osimhen squezzed his way through for the second goal.

The Nigeria international drilled the finish through Di Gregorio’s legs in the 45th minute to continue his sparkling start to the season. 

Kvaratskhelia is also in a great form, he got his 2nd goal of the day in a spectacular fashion.

He collected a pass from Stanislav Lobotka and shimmying past Antov, he placed the angled drive under Mattia Valoti’s sliding attempted block for a beautiful goal. 

South Korea international Kim Min-jae got his debut Serie A goal too, a glancing header on a Piotr Zielinski corner in stoppage time.
