Nigeria v Ghana WC Playoffs: Super Eagles Camp Opens March 21

The Super Eagles camp for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying play-offs against Ghana will open in Abuja on March 21, Megasportsarena.com reports.

Al Hilal striker Odion Ighalo is expected to arrive the earliest after featuring for his side against Al-Ahli Saudi March 18 while Moses Simon should also hit the camp two days later after Nantes game with Lille on the 19th of March.

The United Kingdom contingent should also arrive early.

Frank Onyeka, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman, who recently switched allegiance to Nigeria, are also expected the next day after the Leicester City v Brentford match on March 19. 

The Watford crew of William Troost-Ekong, Emmanuel Dennis and Oghenekaro Etebo, as well as Everton’s Alex Iwobi, are expected in the country on March 22, after the Hornets clash with the Toffees on March 20.

Glasgow Rangers duo Joe Aribo and Leon Balogun will join their Super Eagles colleagues in camp after their March the 20th SPFL match against Dundee.

Victor Osimhen and Ola Aina should come in from Italy on the 22nd after Napoli’s clash with Udinese March 20 and Torino’s away match to Genoa.
