Napoli have raised their asking price for Arsenal and Manchester United target Victor Osimhen after rejecting a €100m bid from Newcastle in January, Megasportsarena.com reports.
Numerous Premier League sides want the Nigeria striker and Napoli are looking to cash in on the interests in him.
Osimhen has been one of the Partenopei’s standout players this season, with 15 goals in 25 appearances across all competitions. He missed almost two months of action between November and January due to a cheekbone injury, but Luciano Spalletti somehow managed to replace him.
Previous reports in Italy claimed €100m would have been enough at the end of the season to sign the 23-year-old, but the Rome-based paper now reports that Napoli have raised the price tag for their star striker.
Arsenal and Manchester United are strongly interested in Osimhen, but Napoli won’t sell for less than €120m. If ‘Osi’ departs in the summer, the Partenopei would pounce on Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca, described as Spalletti’s No.1 target to replace Osimhen.
