Samuel Chukwueze and Emmanuel Dennis are out of the Super Eagles squad for the international friendly match against the Desert Foxes of Algeria, Megasportsarena.com reports.
Both players are injured and will miss the highly anticipated game in Oran.
Dennis was named as a replacement for Adana Demirspor’s Henry Onyekuru, who also called in injured.
Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa have also been ruled out of the game as a result of injury. Musa’s first start for Sivasspor last weekend in the Turkish League was cut short in the 19th minute following an injury.
Casa Pia of Portugal forward, Saviour Godwin and Rivers United left-back Ebube Duru have been handed late call-ups by head coach, Jose Peseiro.
Saviour is a former junior international who helped Casa Pia gain promotion to the top-flight last season, while defender, Duru was in the Rivers team that played in the CAF Champions League against Watanga FC of Liberia on Sunday to qualify for the next round o& the competition.
Ahmed Musa, Samuel Chukwueze, Leon Balogun, Henry Onyekuru, Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure are all injured, and out of the match and Valentine Ozornwafor, Godwin Saviour, Ebube Duru have been called up as replacements.
