Henry Onyekuru is back in Turkey on a season-long loan with Adana Demirspor from Olympiacos Piraeus of Greece with an option to buy, reports Megasportsarena.com.
The former Everton forward, who played for Galatasaray on three different occasions, arrived in Istanbul on Saturday to complete the loan deal.
Adana Demirspor President Murat Sancak said they will offer him a contract if he proves himself: “They offered him before, but I didn’t want him because of the cost. It was suggested again at the last moment, we agreed after serious negotiations.
An obviously elated Onyekuru said he hopes Adana Demirspor will soon be one of the biggest clubs in Turkey.
“I am happy to come to such a club. When I talked to some of my former teammates, they said that it will be one of the biggest clubs in Turkey in a few years.”
