Newly promoted Fulham are looking to sign Bolton Wanderers’ former West Ham United starlet Dapo Afolayan after sealing their return to the Premier League, Megasportsarena.com reports.
The late-blooming 24-year-old, who joined Bolton after making just one appearance in three seasons at West Ham, has six assists, 14 goals and countless Man of the Match awards to his name this term.
Afolayan’s electrifying displays have been noticed by Fulham and Cardiff City. What’s more, the one-time Chelsea kid is only the second Bolton player in the last 20 years to score more than a dozen goals in a league competition.
He’s got that presence and really expressing himself, he’s picking up lovely pockets inside the pitch. He’s taking people on, a few lovely through balls. So it’s a real nice mix and variation and growth that has been seen in his game and he plays with absolute top confidence.”
