Europa Conference League: Iheanacho Scores Vital Late Goal For Leicester v Stade Rennes

Leicester City have taken control of their Europa Conference League last-16 tie with Stade Rennes after a 2-0 win in the first leg on Thursday.

Megasportsarena.com reports that Kelechi Iheanacho gave the Foxes the needed cushion going into the reverse fixtures after scoring late in stoppage time.

The home crowd went into raptures when Iheanacho put them ahead 2-0 on aggregate.

The Nigerian’s 93rd minute goal could prove vital for Leicester’s chances of reaching the quarter-finals.

Playing at home, Leicester went ahead after 30 minutes thanks to a superb goal from Marc Albrighton, which came about after excellent work from Harvey Barnes.
