Tottenham have transfer-listed Dele Alli and will consider formal offers for him to leave the club this month.
Alli was hauled off by boss Antonio Conte in the 69th minute of Sunday’s FA Cup showdown against Morecambe, with his side trailing the minnows 1-0 at the time.
The 25-year-old’s performance in the game was disappointing – and he was eventually replaced by Harry Kane in an attempt to rescue the tie.
Alli has made 18 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goals, but has struggled to nail down a regular starting berth under former boss’ Jose Mourinho and Nuno Espirito Santo, and now the same is happening under Conte.
The 25-year-old has struggled for form in the last few seasons and is yet to impress new head coach Antonio Conte.
Newcastle United and Everton are early contenders for Alli’s signature.
