West Ham United of England battler, Declan Rice has joined the growing array of star players trying their faces out in modelling and fashion, megasportsarena.com gathered.
The England international joins the clan that was made popular by former Manchester United winger, David Beckham, with a debut appearance on a posh magazine cover to the bargain.
A report by popular British tabloid, Daily Mail revels that Rice posed for the first edition for a new magazine, tough his club’s season is reaching crunch time.
Circle Zero Eight went on to profile The Hammers’ star ahead of their UEFA Europa League semi-final first leg fixture with Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany.
Following the first leg at London Stadium on Thursday night, Rice will hope to take The Hammers through next week in Germany, and the winner will tango Glasgow Rangers of Scotland or another German side, RB Leipzig in the final on May 18.
The report adds that Rice posed for the multimedia magazine – which was founded by former British GQ Style Deputy Editor and Fashion Director, Elgar Johnson – as a part of his first editorial cover story.
The 23-year-old England international was pictured wearing Prada – having been shot by Maxwell Tomlinson and styled by Johnson.
Circle Zero Eight also included rising British athlete and model Annie Jill Tagoe in their second edition and Carl Lewis, the famous nine-time Olympic gold medalist, in their third.
Rice’s debut magazine cover comes amid a backdrop of growing speculation regarding his future at West Ham United.
Sportsmail recently revealed that West Ham were eager to keep hold of Rice this summer but explained how the club were preparing to sell him in 12 months’ time.
Manchester City and Manchester United have registered an interest in signing Rice after the midfielder turned down a third contract offer from the Hammers.
Therefore, West Ham will reportedly look to sell Rice – who has more than two years left on his contract – for at least £150million in 2023 after the Qatar World Cup.
