Crystal Palace legend Clinton Morrison believes Michael Olise has a “bright future” ahead of him at Selhurst Park.
Olise is a subject of an international tug-of-war as he qualifies for England, Nigeria, France and Algeria.
He has previously represented France at the U18 level.
Megasportsarena.com reports that as a youngster, Olise spent time at Chelsea and Manchester City before earning a scholarship with Reading.
The exciting left-footed midfielder made his first-team debut for the Royals in March 2019 at the age of just 17.
After scoring seven goals from 44 appearances during the 2020/21 campaign, Olise was snapped by Palace after the club activated his £8.37m release clause.
Olise has now embedded himself in Patrick Vieira’s regular line-up, with the 20-year-old starting seven of Palace’s last eight league games.
“Everyone trusts him as well; he has a great understanding with Wilfred Zaha and he’s only going to improve.
“He’s only 20 years of age, so he’s only going to get better, I think he has a bright future in the game.”
Palace fans aren’t the only ones noticing Olise and his immense potential.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Lille have been keeping tabs on Olise this season and could move for him during the summer transfer window.
