Samuel Chukwueze opened his goalscoring account for Villarreal CF in the 2022/23 season as they brushed aside Chidozie Awaziem’s Hajduk Split 2-0 at Stadion Poljud on Thursday night to advance to the group stage of the Europa Conference League, reports Megasportsarena.com.

The Yellow Submarine thus advanced to the group stage of the UEFA Conference League 6-2 after they won the first leg 4-2 at home.

Usor continued his impressive form as he opened scoring for the Czech champions in the 62nd minute to draw his team level 2-2, and qualify 3-2 on aggregate against Polish club RKS Raków Čenstochová.
The 20-year-old found the net from close range after he was left unmarked by the RKS Raków Čenstochová defence – a goal that sent the game to extra-time.
There was no need for penalties as Schranz scored the second goal in the last minute of extra-time. Substitute Olayinka delivered the cross for the decisive goal.
Fellow Nigeria star Yira Sor was not listed by Slavia possibly because of his transfer situation.
The Czech club thus marched on 3-2 on aggregate before a sold out home stadium.
