Asisat Oshoala is back from her injury, Megasportsarena.com reports.
Barcelona Femeni striker had been out of action due to a knee injury she suffered in the Super Falcons camp in February, while training for Nigeria’s Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifying match against Ivory Coast.
Her Spanish club posted Oshoala’s pictures at a training session yesterday (Thursday) and she’s been given the go ahead by the medical team to take part in Barcelona’s next game.
A statement on the Barcelona website read: “There was good news to be had because all of Claudia Pina, Mariona Caldentey, Patri Guijarro and Asisat Oshoala have been given the medical go-ahead to play in tomorrow’s game.”
The 27-year-old scored six goals in the last four games for the club.
She has also scored 80 goals in 101 competitive games, already making her the sixth-highest goalscorer in the team’s history. She scored her first Barça goal in a Champions League final in Budapest.
