Miguel Azeez joins Ibiza on loan for the season. He will spend the rest of the season with Spanish second tier side UD Ibiza, reports Megasportsarena.com.
The 19-year-old moves to the island from Arsenal to gain more experience in senior football having spent the first half of last season with Portsmouth.
Highly-rated as he came through the Gunners academy, Azeez was fast-tracked into the senior set-up making his competitive debut for Arsenal in December 2020 against Dundalk in the Europa League.
It’s been slim pickings for the midfielder since then and even with our current injury issues he was never seriously considered as an option to fill in for Mo Elneny and Thomas Partey.
Imagine being a 19-year-old professional footballer sent to play in Ibiza for a year…what a gig.
