Toronto Raptors of Canada sensation, OG Anunoby once again set tongues wagging in USA’s National Basketball Association (NBA), as he led four Nigerian-born players in remarkable highlights with a huge dunk over Jimmy Butler of Miami Heat.
Megasportsarena.com reports that Anunoby’s move was the much-talked about highlight in a feisty game between both out-of-form ides, as The Raptors stole a heartwarming victory over The Heat.
Miami had Bam Adebayo in full swing as well, on the same night that DeMar DeRozan got a dramatic climb over Chuma Okeke.
While one spotlight was on larchouma Okeke, the biggest highlight of the night was a well-escalated poster of Anunoby on Butler.
An additional report revealed that Nigerian-born Josh Okogie is also attracting early transfer attention from Utah Jazz.
The report adds that Utah have discussed several wing options, including Harrison Barnes, Robert Covington and Josh Richardson along with their interest in Okogie.
In a related development, Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Adetokunbo (Antetokounmpo) passed legendary Michael Jordan on triple-double list in his side’s victory over Denver Nuggests
The report noted: “Antetokounmpo did what great players do — he took it personally and didn’t let it happen again. Tuesday night.
“The Greek Freak had 33 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists, his fourth triple-double this season and the 29th of his career, moving him past Michael Jordan to 18th on the all-time list.
“Although triple-doubles weren’t really a thing when Jordan played, and the game’s pace was much slower then, The Bucks got the win over the Wizards 112-98.”
