The 23-year-old has taken up the challenge with lots of enthusiasm, as he declared that he is eager to play a prominent role for the club and help them in their task of securing a promotion ticket at the end of the season.

Nwakali further told AOIFootball.com: “I will say I like the new role given to me by the coach; it’s not a new role for me and I’m happy I was able to help the team win.

“I have played more defensively but I am confident I can also thrive going forward. Playing just behind the striker gives me more room to express myself creatively.

“I believe the coach has seen something I can offer and hope I play more in that role. Now the focus for us is to ensure we climb up the table gradually.

“We have an objective to achieve promotion and I hope come the end of the season we can fulfill our aim.”
