West Ham are reportedly willing to raise their bid to £20m for Emmanuel Dennis as the striker makes a vow on social media, Megasportsarena.com understands.
The striker has taken to Twitter to make a vow that he will be even better next season.
“End of a season full of ups and downs,” Dennis Tweeted.
“I want to thank all the fans for always supporting me. Time to get ready and come back better.”
Having a versatile player like Dennis – who can play in any position across the front-line – will help West Ham in terms of giving players – such as Antonio – a rest at the right times.
It would also given added cover for injuries and Moyes more tactical flexibility too.
The Hammers have been heavily linked with Watford forward Dennis as David Moyes looks to make a host of additions in a big rebuild this summer.
West Ham’s hopes of signing Dennis – who scored 10 goals and laid on six assists in 33 games for relegated Watford last season – were boosted this week when a report claimed an ownership issue would work in Moyes’s favour.
The Nigerian could be signed for as little as £10 million after Watford’s relegation to the Championships although Watford value the versatile forward at between £20m and £25m.
Everton are also reported to be showing an interest in Dennis as a potential replacement for Richarlison – the man they signed from Watford.
