Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has declared that they are upbeat ahead of their first game of the Africa Cup of Nations against Egypt and are reasy for Mohamed Salah and his teammates.
The 2021 Afcon begins tomorrow (Sunday) with Cameroon up against Burkina Faso in the opening match and Nigeria face the Pharaohs in a group D encounter on Tuesday in Garoua as they attempt to win their fourth title.
The Super Eagles saw off Cotton Sport Garoua 2-0 on Friday, in their only test match ahead of Cameroon 2021, and Musa is satisfied with the performance of the players in the match.
Musa, who is also excited that all the invited players are now in Cameroon, hopes for a good tournament.
Nigeria play Egypt, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan in the group D of the competition.
