Umar Sadiq announced himself to Real Sociedad fans with a goal on his debut in the game against Atletico Madrid in a La Liga match on Saturday.
Megasportsarena.com reports that Sadiq opened his goal scoring account for his his new club just ten minutes into his first match, for his third goal in La Liga this season.
Sadiq was introduced to the match after the restart and his header from very close range to the bottom right corner gave the hosts the needed equaliser on 55 minutes, after Alvaro Morata had scored early in the game (5th minute) for Atleti.
The Nigerian striker, who moved to Sociedad barely 48 hours ago following his €20m transfer from Almeria, has now scored three goals in four matches this season, with a goal involvement every 121 mins.
