Crystal Palace of England youngster, Tayo Adaramola has revealed a chain of dramatic incidents that rolled before he finally got his debut fir The Eagles on Saturday, megasportsarena.comSnr .

The youngster admitted he was not expecting to make the matchday squad against Hartlepool United in the first place and, after making The Eagles’ bench, he thought his adventure would end just there.

Dramatically, though, he was called on to warm up at a point during the English FA Cup fourth round encounter, but even that period dragged on for such a long time he had even given up any thought of playing the game.

The evening of thrills was, however, not over, as Palace coach, Patrick Vieira eventually signaled him to get ready to go on and the youngster admitted his wildest imagination had come into reality.

Vieira rewarded him with a first team debut following a string of fine displays for Palace’s youth teams this season, in games that have seen him directly participate in five goals across a total of 14 matches combined in the U18 Premier League and Premier League 2.

Ironically, he could have even marked his debut with a goal and he actually thought he had, as the Ireland youth international followed up a shot from Michael Olise, only to see his effort blocked on the line.

Nonetheless, after making his senior debut for Palace aged 18 years and 84 days, in jersey No.45, Adaramola, who joined Olise on the turf with five minutes left on the clock, added that he was happy helping his side get a 2-0 win and book their place in the fifth round of the Cup.

Adaramola admitted he was shocked when a last-gasp challenge blocked his goal-bound effort, after Olise’s shot had been saved, and the fast-rising full-back posited: “I thought I had scored. I don’t even know what to say about that.

“(Before I went on), they kept telling me to stay like really warm so obviously I was there for so long, I didn’t know what to do anymore.

“I was just watching the game and the gaffer called me over and this time he actually told me to get stripped so I knew I was coming on for real.”
