Buhari declared a total lockdown for both the nation’s capital and commercial nerve centre, as well as neighboring Ogun State on account of the number of coronavirus infected people in the country rising to 111 on Sunday night, which occasioned the need for more isolation centres to be erected and set in motion for patients in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This much was disclosed by the minister’s press officer, John Joshua-Akanji, who took to social media to reveal how Dare was personally in the forefront of efforts and instructions on how to make the isolation centre up to scratch and conducive for the task at hand.
Joshua-Akanji, fondly called ‘JJ’ by his colleagues in the Sportswriters Association of Nigeria (SWAN), stated: “Preparing the MKO Abiola Stadium Abuja to fight the covid19 scourge Youth and Sports Development Minister Mr Sunday Dare leads the way.”
