Sadiq Umar looks unstoppable in front of goal as the Almeria top striker struck twice in a Spanish Segunda division game against Mirandes at the Estadio Mideterraneo on Sunday.
The Nigerian marksman grabbed both goals in his club’s 2-1 win to boost their promotion hope.
Sadiq scored the first goal in the 69th minutes and added the second three minutes later, following a through pass from Portuguese star Dyego Sousa.
Sadiq should have ended with the matchday ball after a number of missed chances, especially in the first half that ended 0-0.
The towering striker has now scored 12 goals with 6 assists to move Almeria to within a point of leaders Eibar — who have 57 points from 28 matches.
Next for Sadiq Umar and his mates is a trip to the North on Saturday — where they’ll take on Fuenlabrada.
