The FIGC prosecutor has reportedly demanded fines and suspensions for Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and directors involved in the capital gains trial, which saw the club allegedly inflate the cost of players in the Victor Osimhen deal by €20m.
Megasportsarena.com reports that the first hearing in the court case was held this (Tuesday) morning, with the Federal Prosecutor demanding fines for clubs and suspensions for their directors and Presidents.
The federal prosecutor demanded a suspension of 11 months and five days for Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, six months and ten days for his wife, his son Edoardo, his daughter Valentina, and nine months and 15 days for club CEO Andrea Chiavelli.
The club will be asked to pay a fine of €329,000. Juventus, Sampdoria, Empoli and Genoa are the other Serie A clubs involved in the trial and have been demanded to pay €195,000, €42,000 and €320,000, respectively.
The Tuscans’ president Fabrizio Corsi could also face a ban of 22 months and 15 days. Parma and Pisa (Serie B) will only face potential fines.
