The intermediary who negotiated Victor Osimhen’s transfer to Napoli is confident ‘if he continues like this’ then the Premier League offers will come rolling in, Megasportsarena.com reports.
The Nigeria international made the move from Lille to Napoli in the summer of 2020 for circa €75m, although the real figure is believed to be closer to €60m without the player exchanges.
He has had a sensational season, scoring 16 goals and providing five assists in just 26 competitive games for the Partenopei.
Intermediary Andrea D’Amico was on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli and asked if we could see Osimhen in the Premier League fairly soon.
“Let’s wait to see how the season concludes and then we’ll make the right evaluations. If he continues like this…”
Among the clubs interested in Osimhen, there have already been rumours about Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal.
However, they have been frightened off by the €100m asking price set by President Aurelio De Laurentiis.
The 23-year-old is under contract with Napoli until June 2025 and has a more than impressive tally of 26 goals in 56 official appearances for the club.
