Osimhen Touted As Firmino’s Replacement In Liverpool

Victor Osimhen has emerged as a target for Liverpool who see him as a replacement for one of their forwards as Jurgen Klopp faces a rebuild of sorts, Megasportsarena.com reports.

Liverpool are said to be ‘in love’ with Osimhen and view him as an heir to the throne soon to be vacated by one of the stars.

While headlines are currently dominated by Colombian Louis Diaz, the reality is that Liverpool face the difficult task of deciding what to do with their iconic forwards as Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane will all be 30 by the summer.

Reports say that the decision has been made that Osimhen will not leave Napoli in the winter window while he is still open to a summer move and Newcastle along with Liverpool are two sides named as potential destinations.

Firmino is expected to leave in the summer after spending seven years at Anfield and wants to replace him with Osimhen, “a player who, Jürgen Klopp fell in love with.”
