Barcelona Femeni of Spain attacker, Asisat Oshoala in his cloud nine, after hitting home four goals in one match for the first time since joining The Catalans’ female squad last summer, megasportsarena.com reports.
Oshoala, who was only last Tuesday named African Women Footballer of The Year or the fourth time, made hay in dramatic fashion in a 6-0 thrashing of Osinachi Ohale’s CD Tacon at Ciudad Deportiva Real Madrid Campo.
The former FC Robo Queens of Lagos, Rivers Angels OF Port Harcourt, Liverpool and Arsenal Ladies of England as well as ex-Dalian Quajian of China ace gave Barca a dream start 90 seconds, slotting home from close range after Marta Torrejón delivered a brilliant ball into the box.
Oshoala then gave her side a 3-0 lead in the 13th minute, after combining wither club’s top scorer, Jenni Hermoso, after which the Super Falcons’ captain then netted her first hat-trick in Spanish football when she intercepted a pass and lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper, to make it 5-0.
On 63 minutes, Oshoala wrapped up the scoring with a header, but she still remains behind Hermoso, who has 16 goals to her name and is the only player in any club that has scored more than the Nigerian Amazon in the Primera División Femenina this season.
