NPFL: Enugu Rangers Win Big, Remo Stars Continue Unbeaten Start To The Season

Rangers International recorded the biggest win of the Nigeria Professional Football League this weekend following their 4-0 thrashing of Niger Tornadoes 4-0 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

Kenechukwu Agu got a brace for the Flying Antelopes, while Shedrack Asiegbu and Christian Nnaji scored the other goals.

Rangers are now third position on the log.

Table toppers Remo Stars held Dakkada to a 1-1 draw in Uyo to continue their unbeaten run with eight points from four matches.

Oriyomi Lawal put Dakkada ahead in the 12th minute, but Samuel Anakwe pegged the home team back four minutes before the break.

Second placed Rivers United were held to a brazen draw by bottom placed Sunshine Stars at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.

Nasarawa United beat champions Akwa United 2-0 at the Lafia Township Stadium.

Tochukwu Udeh got the curtain raiser for the Lafia side in the 53rd minute and Silas Nwankwo added the second six minutes from time.

Jesse Akila, Izuchukwu Chimezie and Zulkifilu Rabiu got the goals as Plateau United dismissed Heartland 3-0 in Jos, while Wikki Tourists also hammered MFM 3-0 in another matchday four encounter at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe.
