Leicester City of England winger, Ademola Lookman is relishing his wonder goal that gave his side a 1-0 victory over Liverpool on Tuesday, but stressed he will keep working hard to do even better, megasportsarena.com reports.

While acknowledging the import of his 59th minute strike at King Power Stadium, the former Everton and Fulham of England whiz-kid, who previously played on loan and in a full contract at RB Leipzig of Germany, added that he must keep his feet on the throttle.

He went on to affirm that he is not thinking of making any exit from The Foxes for now, as he would rather keep working to excel further in the team than keep his mind on the transfer window.

With that in mind, the Nigerian-born lad, who was part of England’s winning squad at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, stressed that Lookman refused to be drawn into speculation regarding his future at Leicester City after his match-winning strike against Liverpool in the Premier League on Tuesday.

Lookman still has a contract running with Leipzig until the end of the 202324 season, but The Foxes signed him on a season-long loan with an option to buy him inserted into the agreement, after Fulham passed up the opportunity to sign him permanently following their relegation to the English Championship last season.

Nonetheless, he is now having another impressive loan spell this campaign, with five goals and one assist in 18 appearances across all competitions, but he no longer appears to be in the plans of Leipzig, who sent him out on loan for the second successive season.

However, rather than bother himself about his prospects in the transfer window, Lookman stressed that his focus for now is fully on doing well with Leicester and helping the squad finish well on the EPL log at the end of this season.

Lookman told BBC Sport: “I’m here and I’m at Leicester. It’s about being in the moment, staying in the moment and not thinking about the future. I need to keep working hard every single day.”
