Leon Balogun may be heading to Loftus Road as the curtain falls on his Glasgow Rangers stay, Megasportsarena.com reports.
The Nigeria international has been hailed as a Rangers dressing room leader by former Rangers assistant boss Michael Beale, sparking speculation that he could be heading for QPR this summer.
Beale left his role as Steven Gerrard ‘s number two at Aston Villa to take on the top job at Loftus Road earlier this month.
A Rangers reunion could be on the cards in the English Championship as Beale looks to steer the club back to the English Premier League.
Posting to Twitter, Beale heaped praise on the centre-back: “Leon Balogun was outstanding for Rangers – both on the pitch but also around the changing room.
“He is a ‘personality’ leader who gives his team mates so much positivity and guidance on a daily basis. Take a bow.”
The 33-year-old brought the curtain down on his time at Ibrox with a Scottish Cup winners medal, having lifted the Premiership title in his previous season.
