Bologna have signed striker Joshua Orobosa Zirkzee from Bayern Munich for €8.5m plus 50% sell-on clause on a four-year contract.
Bayern will also have a buy-back option included in the deal.
He tweeted ‘Thanks for everything and good luck for the future, Joshua!’
Zirkzee landed in Italy yesterday and was at the San Siro last night to watch the Milan-Bologna game in the stands.
Zirkzee is eligible to play for Nigeria and has been on the radar of the Football Federation for sometime now, but has refused to commit himself.
Born in Schiedam to a Nigerian mother and a Dutch father, Zirkzee began his footballing career as a 5-year-old with VV Hekelingen after the family had moved to Spijkenisse.
