Glasgow Rangers of Scotland midfielder, Joe Aribo is hogging summer transfer prospects at Selhurst Park, the home ground of Crystal Palace of England, as The Eagles look to stoke their midfield with fresh options.
With Palace appearing to struggle for depth in the ongoing campaign, megasportsarena.com gathered that permutations are already being made about how Aribo can fit into the scheme of things at Selhurst Park.
That has led to a report by British tabloid, The Sun that Patrick Vieira’s side have outlined a 10m pound package to hook the signature of Aribo during the summer transfer window.
The Eagles are preparing for the expected return of Conor Gallagher to his parent club, Chelsea of England, at the end of this season, which has seen Aribo emerge as the ideal player to replace the outgoing player.
It is already being speculated that Aribo does not want to extend his contract with Rangers and, with more prospects coming his way regularly this season, the lure of playing in the English Premier League could help swing a summer deal in Palace’s favour.
Aribo, who has 125 appearances in all competitions and 23 goals to his name since joining The Gers from Charlton Athletic of England in 2019, has become a favourite of the sporting director at Palace, Dougie Freedman, who heaped praises on the lad after The Old Firm derby against Glasgow Celtic on Wednesday.
