The Super Falcons lost their third consecutive friendly match to Japan on Wednesday morning in Kobe, Megasportsarena.com reports.
The Nigerian ladies were beaten 2-0 by Nadeshiko, with both goals from set pieces.
After a goalless first half, Japan got two quick fire goals ( in the 64th and 68th minutes) to condemn the visitors to another defeat.
A brace from Mina Tanaka was all the hosts needed to win.
Tanaka chested down a floated set piece at the edge of the Nigerian box before slotting past Chiamaka Nnadozie, and she got the second from the penalty spot, after Osinachi Ohale brought down a Japanese player who was through on goal.
The Super Falcons have now lost five straight matches since their WAFCON win over Cameroon in July.
