West Ham United manager David Moyes wants Jesse Lingard’s deal to be finalised before he switches to Arnaut Danjuma, Megasportsarena.com understands.
The club and manager are arguing about their next move in the transfer market.
Although they are willing to meet the asking price for Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma, who is currently valued at £38m, but Moyes wants to get a deal done for Jesse Lingard.
Lingard is a free agent after his contract expired with Manchester United.
The 29-year-old spent the second half to the 2020/21 season at West Ham.
An contract offer has been extended to Lingard, but he has yet to sign on the dotted line.
Moyes is still keen to sign Danjuma, but he would prefer to secure Lingard first.
