Huddersfield Town boss Carlos Corberan is full of praise for Chelsea starlet Tino Anjorin and called him one of the best talents in the United Kingdom!
The Chelsea youngster who just returned from a loan spell at Locomotif Moscow of Russia was signed on loan with Huddersfield until the end of the season, but was recalled.
Corberan said: “I believe Tino is one of the most important young talents in Britain.
“He is now in the last part of his recovery from injury, and we expect he can be integrated into our squad during February.
“As soon as he is fully recovered, he will increase the possibilities of our squad. He can play in different attacking positions – as a 10, 11 or 7 – and he has the skills to make a real impact in our attacking play.”
The 20-year-old made eight appearances during his time in Russia and scored his only goal for the club on his debut in the Europa League against Marseille. However, injury has prevented him from featuring since late October as he returned to Cobham for treatment and rehabilitation.
A product of the Chelsea Academy, Anjorin featured on three occasions for our men’s first team last term as he established himself as a regular in Thomas Tuchel’s senior squad.
He played a part in the Blues Champions League success, starting a group-stage game against another Russian side, Krasnodar, as well as playing two games in the FA Cup run to the final. In the summer, he was rewarded with a new five-year contract at the club.
