Suleiman Abdullahi has left Taiwo Awoniyi in Union Berlin to join Swedish side IFK Gothenburg, Megasportsarena.com reports.
The negotiations are already well advanced and Allsvenskan club who were 10th in the Swedish top flight last season hopes to be able to present the Nigerian goal scorer in just a few days.
The 25-year-old’s contract with Union officially ends this month (June).
He joined Union on an initial loan from Eintracht Braunschweig and did enough to get a permanent transfer to the club at the time, however his dwindling performance necessitated his departure from the German club.
