Unknown Nigerian-born youngster, Elijah Adebayo of Luton Town and Doncaster Rovers’ Joseph Olowu both scored in the midst of blanks by several of their compatriots on Saturday, with the first of the duo taking his tally to ten for the season in the English Championship.
Adebayo again stole the show, after netting a 62nd minute equaliser that helped his side eke out a 1-1 draw with table toppers Fulham at Kenilworth Road, thereby denting hope of victory held by the club where he spent his academy years.

With 11 minutes remaining of their English League One fixture, the central defender headed in a corner from Rowe – his second league goal in four outings; while Freddie Ladapo also netted for Rotherham United.

Folarin Balogun was not dressed for Arsenal, who returned to winning ways after suffering two successive defeats on the road, as The Gunners’ hit Tella’s Southampton 3-0.
Alexandre Lacazette put Arsenal in front in the 21st minute and their second goal came just six minutes later through Martin Odegaard, after which Gabriel headed the ball home to make it 3-0 in the 62nd minute.
Same evening in the EPL, Nigerian-born youth international, Carney Chukwuemeka watched proceedings from the bench at Anfield, where Aston Villa suffered a 1-0 defeat by Liverpool, after Mohamed Salah scored from the spot in the 67th minute.
