Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze admitted frustration after their 4-2 defeat at Manchester City.
Erling Haaland dominated the scoresheet with a hat-trick for City.
Eze said, “It’s a difficult one to take. It wasn’t enough in the second half. We were getting our chances. When you sit off against a team like this then eventually they will take their chances.
“You know if you soak up the pressure it won’t be enough eventually with the players they have got. We worked until the end, put in a good performance but it wasn’t enough. We did well in the first half but it’s a difficult one.
“We know that if we keep making performances like that we will win more games than not. Hard one but we keep going.”
