Queens Park Rangers of England midfielder, Eberechi Eze has found another source of interest coming his way in the January transfer window, as Sheffield United have joined the queue in the hunt for his signature, megasportsarena.com reports.
In the wake of earlier reports about interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Chelsea coming his way, latest information at the weekend revealed that Eze is also a January window target for Sheffield United’s boss, Chris Wilder.
A report by The Sun adds that The Blades’ manager is so eager to get the enterprising England youth international, to the extent that he has urged the club’s hierarchy to come up with around £12m for the 21-year-old lad, who is also wanted by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Sheffield’s boss says he needs another player who can fit into both midfield and attacking positions behind the top striker, and believes Eze fits the bill, but he will have to convince the club’s top brass, who prefer signing youngsters from the second-tier, more in their price range.
