SSC Napoli of Italy striker, Victor Osimhen on Sunday evening resumed full training with the Super Eagles in Abuja.
Megasportsrena.com reports that Osimhen returned to team activities with his colleagues alongside FC Porto of Portugal defender, Zaidu Sanusi and FC Lorient of France midfielder, Innocent Bonke.
This is in contrast with reports on Saturday that there were doubts over the fitness of Osimhen, Sanusi and Bonke as they were all excused from the recovery session that lasted an hour and half.
Sanusi’s leg was wrapped in ice and Bonke nursed an injury he suffered in the second half of the goalless draw in Kumasi.
Apart from the Porto left-back and Lorient midfielder, Osimhen and Villarreal of Spain winger, Samuel Chukwueze did not participate in any of the team activities during the recovery session.
Glasgow Rangers of Scotland duo, Joe Aribo and Leon Aderemi Balogun have no injury worries ahead of the visit of the Black Stars, as they were both involved in jogging exercises.
All players that started and played majority of the game against Ghana had a light session while others that did not get action or entered as late substitutes took possession, passing and finishing drills.
Sunday’s session was better, though, as only Chukwueze stayed out, thereby raising doubt over his chances of playing on Tuesday, while Osimhen, Bonke and Sanusi rejoined the fray.
