Chidera Ejuke is well on his way to Bundesliga side Hertha BSC, Megasportsarena.com understands.
According to BILD, the Bundesliga club are set to acquire the 24-year-old Nigerian from CSKA Moscow, with no purchase option negotiated in the loan business.
The Berlin club are in the market for attacking reinforcements and the Nigerian fits the bill for the railway club.
Ejuke should undergo the routine medical checks in Berlin in the days ahead before a confirmation is made.
The dribbler left SC Heerenveen in the summer of 2020 for a transfer fee of twelve million euros.
The Nigeria international scored five goals and five assists for CSKA Moscow last season and still has a contract with the Muscovites until mid-2024, and no option to buy would be included in the deal with Hertha.
Hertha finished sixteenth in the Bundesliga last season and avoided relegation by beating Hamburger SV in the postseason.
