Barcelona have made an offer for RB Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi.
The Germany international is among the most coveted players in Europe and is the subject of a €35m bid from Broussard Dortmund.
Adeyemi is quickly becoming one of the highest rated young strikers in Europe due to his form for RB Salzburg.
The 19-year-old has scored three and assisted one in the Champions League this season, and he has added to that with 15 goals domestically.
Reports in Germany say Barca have bettered that with a rival offer of €40m.
For his part, Adeyemi plans to make this his last season in Austria and his agents have already spent time in Germany and Spain for talks with interested clubs.
The 19 year-old, who is still eligible for Nigeria, made his Germany debut earlier this year.
