Glasgow Rangers of Scotland midfielder, Joseph Ayodele (Joe) Aribo has won fresh words of praise from the Scottish Premiership club’s coach, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who hailed the Super Eagles’ star for contributing offensively and defensively to his team’s win against Dundee.
Speaking in the wake of Saturday’s game at Ibrox Stadium, Van Brockhorst hailed Aribo for his stunning performance against The Dark Blues and tagged the former Charlton Athletic of England dazzler as a dynamic player.
The rain of accolades came after Aribo also emerged among the goal scorers for The Gers and the Glasgow-based club’s Dutch coach is happy with their 3-0 triumph over the visitors.
Megasportsarena.com reports that, gaining from an assist by Glen Kamara, Aribo put his team ahead in the 36th minute before having a hand in the second goal as Ryan Sweeney scored inside his own net.
In the wake of the encounter, The Gers’ coach is reeling lyrical about Aribo’s quality and he further noted how important the Nigerian ace has been during his time with the club.
Van Bronckhorst told Rangers TV: “Joe is an important player who has played here for many years and you could see what he brings to the team.
“He scored a goal but his overall performance defensively and offensively was very good. He’s a very dynamic player and I’m happy with his performance.
“We were very controlled which is what you want when you play at home – create a lot of chances and don’t give any chances away.
“We did well. At 3-0 up we were still looking for the fourth goal. That’s the desire we need in games and we also need to show.
“I’m really happy with the performance as it was very good overall and happy with the points again, of course.”
