Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick wants huge offer for Borussia Dortmund for defender Akanji, Megasportsarena.com reports.
The Red Devils are seeking to sign defender Manuel Akanji this summer.
The club’s interim coach Rangnick is reportedly a huge admirer of Akanji, who was born in Wiesendangen, Switzerland to a Swiss mother and a Nigerian father.
The Swiss centre-half has an offer from United of roughly €15 million per year in wages, per German outlet Bild.
If that is true, such an offer would almost double is current BVB salary, making the offer extremely tempting.
Whether United’s board sanctions a bid for Akanji is another matter, as Rangnick is unlikely to be the club’s manager in the summer.
