Nigeria’s opponents in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will be known on April 19, Megasportsarena.com reports.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed on Friday that the Super Eagles are among the 12 Pot 1 teams for the draw alongside, Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, Nigeria, Algeria, Cameroon, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast (hosts), Tunisia, Egypt, and DR Congo.
The road to Cote d’Ivoire Africa Cup of Nations will gain momentum in June 2022 when the Group Stages commence.
CAF will announce all the platforms where audience can watch and follow the draw in due course. The Organising Committee also approved modifications to the June 2022 window.
The qualifying series will start in June, 2022, with the final set of matches to be played in March, 2023.
The Super Eagles were eliminated by Tunisia in the second round of the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
