Chelsea of England’s Nigerian-born central defender, Fikayo Tomori is attracting frenetic January transfer attention from the English Premier League duo of West Ham United and Newcastle United as well as Stade Rennes of France, megasportsarena.com reports.
With Tomori failing to stamp his feet on a regular stating shirt at Stamford Bridge, talk has been on that he could be heading out on loan next month, but a full transfer to Rennes now appears to be on the cards for the dark-skinned stopper, as the French Ligue 1 side are reportedly now emerging as favourites for his signature.
With the former Derby County of England defender set to be available for a loan deal next month, he is already attracting interest from West Ham and Nwcastle in England, while English Premier League returnees, Leeds United also cited with an interest.
However, fingers are pointing in the direction of Rennes as his likely destination early next month, as the French side have close ties with Chelsea, especially with relations between both clubs in good shape, having reached an agreement for the transfer of Edouard Mendy to Stamford Bridge this summer.
