Southampton of England youngster, Nathan Tella has gained a fresh reel out of accolades, as the new kid on the block keeps churning out remarkable performances for The Saints and the English Premier League club’s coach, Ralph Hasenhuttl has joined in hailing the lad.
Megasportsarena.com gathered that, with Tella hitting an incredible rain of four goals in action for Southampton’s junior team last weekend, Hasenhuttl has reflected on the historic milestone and went on to declare that the Nigerian-born kid has a lot more to offer.
The Saints’ gaffer went on to tip the former Arsenal of England youth team player for a bright future, which the tactician pointed out was underscored in how Tella netted four goals in the first half as Southampton B thrashed Leicester City 5-2 in the Premier League 2 last weekend.
The Southampton handler admitted that he and everyone else at the club have been impressed by Tella’s development since his arrival from Arsenal in the summer of 2017, which explains why the rave of the moment at Saint Mary’s was rewarded with a new contract earlier this year and he soon after went on to get his senior debut as a professional.
Although Tella was predominantly a winger during his Arsenal days, he has started showing that he is also capable of being deployed as a playmaker or even as a striker, much to the admiration of Hasenhuttl, who has now hinted that the 21-year-old could get more roles in the main team after his cameo against The Gunners in midweek at Emirates Stadium.
Hasenhuttl said: “We are very convinced about him. We need to think about what the best position is for him. It seems more and more that he seems more confident on the nine than on the 10. So, let’s push him there and get the best out of him and we will have a lot of fun with him.”
