Racing Genk of Belgium attacker, Paul Ebere Onuachu has parried January transfer speculation rolling round his name, as he says his target is to make lots of history at his present base before leaving to another club, megasportsaeena.com reports.
His current top form and goals scoring acumen at club level has led to wild speculation that he could be on his way out of Genk next month, especially with a number of clubs in England said to be keen on a deal for him, but the towering striker insists he is not thinking of moving just yet.
The former FC Midtjylland of Denmark hitman, who is currently top scorer in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League stressed that he is not thinking of getting a transfer to England because he hopes to make many milestones at Genk.
Having thus far netted 14 goals so far this season, despite failing to make his marks with the Super Eagles, Onuachu is talk of the town in Belgium and is said to be attracting attention from Sheffield United of England, as they fight to stay in the EPL, but the 26-year-old hitman is not thinking about moving to the British Isles just yet.
Onuachu told The Punch newspaper: “I haven’t thought of leaving yet. I still have a three-year contract, so there is certainly no rush to leave. We have a goal and I want to write history at the club before I leave.”
