Arsenal of England in-form youth tam striker, Folarin Balogun has been virtually laid bare from the technical point of view, following an exposé issued by a former midfielder of the London-based English Premier League club, Steve Morrow, megasportsarena.com reports.
With Balogun still dragging feet over a contract extension at Emirates Stadium, Morrow, who now works as a scout for The Gunners has thrown more light on the youngster’s technical qualities and assets, which are drawing ken interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.
Morrow went on to explain the qualities that make Balogun a good striker, even as the Nigerian-born England under-20 international entered the last five months of his contract and could be on his way out of the north London club on a free transfer this summer, especially as he has not been in training with the Arsenal first-team over the last few weeks.
In the midst of speculation surrounding Balogun’s future at Emirates Stadium, Morrow, who worked at Arsenal for 11 years, during which time he got first-hand observations of the in-form lad’s sterling qualities, outlined physicality, strong hold-up play, accurate finishing in front of goal and other stand-out assets that make the youngster a hot bait for top clubs across Europe.
Morrow expatiated: “He’s got tremendous qualities, a great kid and a great family. He’s got great physical qualities, can lead the line very well, holds the ball up very well, brings other players into play and is probably as good a finisher. I hope he can make the right decision and then figure out what’s best for him at this stage of his career.”
